I enjoy electrical work. I am also very interested in mechanics. I do not shy away from manual labor. I thrive in an intense work environment. I have an extremely motivated and dedicated work ethic. Residential electrical. Punch list type of work. Very different from the commercial industrial side I started with.

Small Engine Mechanic

November 2021 to February 2022

Learned the basics to small engines. Gained much experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic. Compression check,spark and fuel and the engine should run that's where I would begin. Performed routine maintenance such as air and fuel filter replacement. Saw first hand the effects ethanol has on seals and gaskets. Learned how to rebuild carbs and how to tune air fuel mixture. I enjoyed it gained lots of knowledge and happy to have had the experience. It's just not electrical, which I truly enjoy and am intrigued by.

Electrician

July 2018 to July 2021

Started green as a helper and three years later had a van and helper. I've built several grocery stores from underground to the punch list. Mounted panels swapped breakers. Pulled wire from branch circuits to the home run then terminated at the breaker. I've ran thousands of feet of emt. 3 point and four point saddles are not a problem. I was a service tech at the end. I can troubleshoot and solve many electrical problems. Not the best and have much to learn. I've wired low voltage communication systems. The refrigeration end of the build. I've changed rotation on fan motors mounted disconnects for hvac. My experience is with 277v 480v . I've pulled and terminated copper and aluminum from 500 awg to #12 and 18g 8 conductor Danfoss cable. Set poles for pole lights. Can operate skid steer and mini excavator. Spent hours working from scissor lifts. Mounted many different types of lighting. I can work circuits live as I work them all like they are live. I am confident in my skills and my work ethic.
