Duties:

Quality Inspector Position is responsible for Verifying the quality of the parts used in building Tesla Cars. To verify the rework of parts and components by third party vendors. To release parts to production after being verified. To rework parts and components as needed. To assist the Rapid Response Team as needed, and other duties as needed.

Material Review Board Position is responsible for Reviewing the parts sent to the MRB area and verifying the paperwork is correctly filled out, and deciding on the disposition of the part, and then scrap the part, or put it on hold for engineering to review, and decide the disposition of the part.

Both Positions require knowledge of quality and cars, and machines, as well as components of cars. There are several other duties that are done sometimes, like working with production on the assembly line to do a function that is needed to assist production in making sure certain quality Sorts are being done on the cars.

The Quality Inspector, and Material Review Board Positions are very Important to the quality of the finished products leaving the Factory every day, and I am glad to be able to do my part.

After being laid off in 2010 from Lifesparc Inc. due to the company shutting down,

I took advantage of available training from the EDD through the TAA program.

On Sept. 22 2011, I completed the 5 month long Combination Welding course at Cal Trade Welding School. I am not currently certified, however I was originally certified in several types of welding, with certifications in: Inner shield, 3G and 4G; Dual shield 3G; MIG, 3G and 4G; and 7018, 3G and 4G, as well as learning TIG welding on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.

I have been unemployed since February of 2015 to March of 2018, Primarily due to becoming the primary and only caregiver for my then 96 year old mother who became very ill with pneumonia and suffered a stroke in January of 2015. (She suffered another stroke in January of 2016 as well.) She was no longer able to be left alone during the day, and I was unable to find or afford a caregiver since that time. However, I recently got a caregiver part time and that has allowed me to reenter the job market now that I am no longer the only person in the house that can care for my mom. I am ready and able to resume a normal work schedule and commit to a full time job.
