●Principal investigator in a study titled “A study on the eruption of permanent teeth with a view to determine age” (2008 To 2010) – approved by IEC, GMC, Thiruvananthapuram

●One of the principal investigators in a research titled “A study of relative correlation between the pattern of finger prints and lip prints” (2014) – ICMR approved

The role included designing the study, preparation of protocol, obtaining approval from the research committee and IEC, participant selection, informed consent of the participants, data collection and analysis

Medico-legal activities: Autopsies including site autopsy and exhumation (individually conducted and certified 800 medico-legal autopsies), attended various Courts of Law as a common and expert witness, crime scene investigation, examination of victim and accused in sexual offence cases, Wound certification, Collection of trace evidences including biological samples.

Statistical & Software Skills: Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Reference Manager (bibliographic software), Research Methodology (sample size calculations, inferential statistics), MS Office and the Internet.

General: Excellent oration skills in presenting seminars, Strong technical command of the English language, Competent researcher with an inquisitive mind and learning skills, Capacity to work independently as well as a team
