ZEP INC

April 2012 – July 2013

Atlanta, GA

ABAP Development Lead WM/RF

Developed Dialog programming, Custom transaction, function modules, interfaces, conversion, enhancement (framework), USEREXITS, ALV reports.

SAP ITS Mobile System is used at the ZEP Facility to provide a mechanism whereby Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Put away, Picking, Goods Movements within the Warehouse (Warehouse supervision) and WM Inventory Cutover can be performed from an RF device directly into the SAP system.

Developed all processes below, which are analogous to SAP standard transaction MB01/MIGO with movement type ‘101’ and followed by LT06 for palletization and TO creation.

Goods Receipt against Purchase Order transaction ZWGRPO (Program ZWMP_GRPO). RF user will be able to do partial receipts if the whole PO is not to be received at once.

Goods Receipt against Outbound Delivery transaction ZWGRDL (Program ZWMP_GRDL). RF user will be able to do partial receipts if the whole Delivery is not to be received at once.

Goods Receipt against Shipment transaction ZWGRSH (Program ZWMP_GRSH). RF user will be able to perform partial receipts if the whole Shipment is not to be received at once.

Goods Receipt against Production Order transaction ZWGRPD (Program ZWMP_GRPD). RF user will be able to do partial receipts if the whole Production Order is not to be received at once.

Developed process below which is analogous to SAP standard transaction VL01N, transaction ZTPC allows supervisor to ADD/DELETE/CHANGE record in ZTPC custom table for listing of Plant/Customer maintenance.

Load Trailer for Manufactured Products transaction ZWLOAD (Program ZWMP_LOADM). This transaction allows RF users to Load a Trailer from a Staging Area. This transaction is used for Made to Stock Items.

Developed process below which is analogous to SAP standard transaction LT11.

Goods Issue against Outbound Delivery (Picking) transaction ZWPICK (Program ZWMP_PICK). RF users may use this transaction to Pick Goods against Outbound Delivery’s Transfer Order line item.

Developed process below which is analogous to SAP standard transaction LM32.

Load Trailer for Delivery Products transaction ZWLOADD (Program ZWMP_LOADD). This transaction will allow RF users to Load a Trailer from the Staging Area where items are already picked. This transaction is used for WM Pick loading.

Managed removal strategy fixed bin removal. Fix bin or forward picking was extremely useful to the picking process as picking was directed to the same fixed location every time. Additional feature was automatic replenishment, which scheduled stock to be relocated to a fixed bin when quantities reach a certain threshold.

Managing stock quantities at the storage bin level enabling users to know exactly where a particular material is located in the warehouse, along with moving stock to specific bin locations using standard put away strategies.

Customize the inbound delivery with handling units and goods receipt for the same. For this a GR transfer order needs to be created, confirmed along with a put away transfer order. Solution was to merge several RF transactions (LM03, LM76) into one custom single RF transaction. Designed 2 RF screen sizes in order to serve any type of RF device (handheld, forklift). Used transaction LM00 to select the correct screen size.

ABAP Development Lead WM/RF/VISTEX

VISTEX - Streamlined the chargeback processes, reduced errors, validated claims, and prevented overpayments. Monitor and reconcile outstanding chargeback claims. Leverage chargeback processes to recover any difference between the acquisition cost and the customer sales price. Communicate with partners via EDI, Outbound EDI 844 and inbound 849.

Identify the process and system requirements needed to successfully introduce the shipments from the truck gate to the unloading point at the warehouse. SAP Warehouse Management module was the system of choice.

Enhanced the warehouse inbound process, when trailers are unloaded at the warehouse docks, they are evaluated and sorted. There are several validation processes that determine the destination area product should be sent.

Enhanced the trailer unload program to check for specific PO type, if part is sperrlager check determination based on production suppy method and source of supply defined in the material master. Other requirements included returnable container, damage shipment, crossdock parts, quality flashing parts, hot parts, normal unload and engine unload.

Developed the dashboard yard prioritization report it determines what parts are to be unloaded to the warehouse from the yard.

Enhanced the receiving monitor display, currently the receiving monitor displayed unloaded trailer shipments based on storage location. The report shows data on the material and quantity level, not the SU. The report was enhanced to be able to reconcile stock per trailer. Additional button will be added on the header called (unload details) when the button is clicked, it brought the user to a window/screen that displayed the posted SUs for that delivery. Compare 802 and receiving area (1GR) TOs based on the specific trailer.

Enhanced the Non-SAP WM put away program, on screen 9001, after user pressed F4-Move to WM, if the movement comes from a specific storage location the program will create a IDOC to pass the information from SAP to Witron after a successful movement of SU to destination bin (TO was confirmed and 311 posted).

Expert knowledge in Sales and Distribution functionality, including extensive custom development work with complex pricing, variant configuration, transportation, order processing, billing, output development, account determination, user exits and reporting Experienced in leading large global teams through complex program and project tasks. Detail oriented delivery-focused and able to motivate teams.

Developed custom program to pass Classification Values to SIEBEL, the program trigger a ABAP Proxy sending information to XI, and XI then passes the information to SIEBEL.

Created ALV report with logic for interfacing Global Pricing (ZCFP, ZCTP and ZCLP) and KANO classification. The requirements are to provide information related to Global Pricing, Core Pricing and KANO Classification data. The details will be interfaced to SOFON.

Work with all master data in APO: Product/Location, resource, PPM, Transportation Lanes, Product Process Model (PPM): Created program to create, update, delete PPM in APO. Transportation Lane Program to create, Update, Delete Transportation Lanes in APO. Worked on User Exits, which comes into picture during CIF process for Material/Locations from R/3 to APO. Through this EXIT Z Table dynamic values are set for certain number of fields in APO. Reading planning book, Updating-planning book for specified key(s).

Delete transactional data from planning book, Safety stock calculation based on planning book data.

Character Combo Creation and Deletion from Planning Book. Linking planning book, data view, planning area, info objects. More than 6 Dialog programs for some custom tables, which involve ALV, tab strips, Table Control.

The TCODE /SAPAPO/MD74 of realigning the PIR basically deletes the forecast as well as all entries of the sales order and GI already consumed or pegged with demand element from the table /DPSCHED. Hence if you run /SAPAPO/MD74 that means now the PIR and goods issues have been cleaned from SNP and for any new PIR released from DP to SNP the existing goods issue will not be considered and the fresh PIR will be available for the next consumption. I used it for deletion of past PIR and also cleaning the SNP with every monthly forecast loading cycle.

ABAP developer SD/VISTEX

Conducted workshops to drive out all business requirements. Worked directly with the functional analyst on various business scenarios and wrote technical specifications for the team. SD/Order Management: Use Visio for technical design flow, provided ABAP prototyping for enhancing the order to cash (OTC) process including Alternate serve plant and Catalog updates. Configure Catalog: created program for establishing a catalog layout along with the selection options. The ability to generate customer catalogs on periodic basis utilizing eligibility filters and customer hierarchy. Catalogs contain all item master (NDC, description…), pricing (invoice, contract, retail…), and customer data elements. Catalogs are based on usage history and other customer selection criteria. Catalogs are delivered in different methods and formats. In addition, I created a method to capture relevant customer price or material changes (concept in SAP of using database change pointers, event triggers, and user exits). These changes are stored in change log tables which will be read by the catalog generation program so that there will be an option to only process change records.

VISTEX: Contracts and Chargebacks with SAP Compensation Management. Contract pricing functions: contract loading and prioritization, contract header, contract customers, contract products and pricing and SD integration. Chargeback functions: chargeback creation, chargeback document and reconciliation. The process created a pricing contract, the contract is sent to wholesaler via EDI 845. Sales order is created, delivery document, billing document, chargeback, collective chargeback (EDI 844), chargeback reconciliation (EDI 849) and chargeback settlement.

Convert all data objects (LSMW) into newly organized structures with changes to plants, sales organizations and company codes encompassing conversion activities of master, dependent and transactional data. Implemented the methodology for conversion and delta process. Also developed several at risk conversion objects including inventory, recipes, and bill of materials.

Enhanced the end to end solution for optimizing and automating the entire procure to pay process. Streamlined and automated the purchase order process by using EDI. The solution fully automates the ordering process between suppliers. It also allows receiving order acknowledgements, change orders, shipping notifications and invoices via the same EDI channel.

ABAP Lead Developer SD/MM/XML

Wrote sales order Interface to convert XML formatted data to IDOC and BAPI Structures, used Call Transformation to convert XML formatted data.

Created Z Xref tables:

ZMJT_VS_XREF_MAT - Xref for Material

ZMJT_VS_XREF_BUK - Xref for Company Code

ZMJT_VS_PARAM - Parameters (Labor Activity Type, Receiver Cost Center, Overhead Activity Type, Sender Cost Center, Mov.Type for MB1A, Mov.Type for MB1B, Mov.Type for MB1C, Plant, Storage Location, Repair Storage Location, and Repair Plant).

ZMJT_VS_XREF_DC – Xref for DC Code

Read inbound sales order file coming from Vision Star converting into ABAP format, read Xref table Company Code to find Sales Order type and SAP company code.

Process goods receipt for finished good

BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE (tcode MB1C).

Post Labor and Overhead to the sender/receiver cost center

Get Sender/Receiver cost center, labor and overhead activities from Parameters table, quantities from input file, move reference field from VS to KB21N text field. BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_POST for transaction KB21N using table parameters.

Sales Order and Delivery.

Function module BAPI_SLAESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 was used to post the Vision Star sales order in SAP. Internal table ZMJT_VS_XREF_DC will be used to look up the sales area. This table is keyed by a field called ZDCCODE. To get the correct ZDCCODE to use in looking up the sales area, a lookup must first be done on the ZMJT_VS_XREF_BUK table using the company code.

The function module BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 will return the sales order and delivery numbers in the RETURN table. This table should be scanned for an entry where the ID field = ‘V1’ and the NUMBER field = ‘260’. The sales order number is contained in the MESSAGE_V2 field of that record and the MESSAGE_V3 field holds the delivery number.

IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY.

Before an invoice can be generated, a PGI needs to be performed on the Delivery. Again the IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY function module is used with INPUT_METHOD = ‘N’ and MASS_PROCESSING = ‘X’.

Create Billing Document

In order to bill a delivery for a Vision Star order the following structure needs to be populated as indicated and passed to function module BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEFROMDATA.

For international orders, a second invoice is required between the two inter-company entities. This invoice is also created using function module BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEFROMDATA.
