EXPERIENCE
06/2021-07/2022 Baxter Regional Medical Center- Pre-Reg for Endoscopy Services Process orders for the Endoscopy Clinic, consisting of contacting the patient via telephone to ensure their information was correct in our system. I ran their estimates on their insurance and collected and copays or co-insurance before procedure. If I was unable to collect, I set up a payment plan with them through our financial counselor. I made sure all CPT codes met for medical necessity for Medicare patients and if we were lacking the correct CPT code, I contacted the doctors office and request a new order with the correct code needed. 01/2020-05/2021 Lincare Holdings- Customer Service Rep Working remotely from home. Calling patients to make sure they were testing their blood levels for being on Warfarin/Coumadin. Ordering their supplies needed for testing and de-escalating situations that arose.
