Cryptologic Technicians (Technical) (CTT) conduct Electronic Warfare (EW) in support of national and commanders tasking; operate and maintain electronic sensors and computer systems; collect, analyze, exploit, and disseminate Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) in accordance with fleet and national tasking; provide safety of forces, Indications and Warning (I&W), Information Operations (IO), and Anti-Ship Missile Defense (ASMD); and provide technical and tactical guidance to Warfare Commanders and national consumers in support of surface, subsurface, air, and special warfare operations. (This is the standard job description of my position at every duty station I deployed at for the US Navy).

Cryptologic Technician Technical (Analyst Supervisor)

Processed and coordinated travel claims using the DTS systems for forward deployed personnel. Authorized special pays for personnel on TDY (temporary assignments) for an entire command of approximately 2000 by drafting and processing necessary documents and coordinating with Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) ensuring required pays were processed and authorized allowances were met to include, vehicles, hotels, plane fare, per diem, travel pay, separation pay, and food allowances.

Processed and developed a data base to catalog the medical readiness of over 500 personnel to ensure operational medical status of the command personnel. These duties included review of medical and dental records to ensure individuals are complying medically with their responsibilities. I also set up medical procedures to include outpatient and inpatient procedures/surgeries and was the liaison between the medical center/hospital and command. Kept track of discrepancies and deficiencies of medical documents. Translated certain medical codes or diagnosis into the database guaranteeing members privacy was not violated by restricting access to only pertinent personnel as the manager of the database and liaison to the medical center. I also reviewed medical records often, audited records to update information and gave feedback, set up an alert system to allowed me to be ahead of necessary procedures that were required of the member, simplified the data entered, interpreted medical issues to ensure proper coding was correctly entered.

Trained and supervised KRSOC personnel as well as foreign partners on trend analysis and radar tracking, using all source intelligence from various platforms. Conducted 24 – hour watch operations; real-time SIGINT Threat Warning (STW) directly to theater and tactical commanders operating in PACOM are of responsibility.

As an OPELINT manager and supervisor performed in-depth analysis and all source fusion analysis utilizing multiple data sources from ELINT, COMINT, and IMINT which provided the development of multi-dimensional views of threats and its potential threat impact.
