B.E. PROJECT & ACHIEVEMENTS :

Experimentation of waste heat recovery from an air conditioning system using composite phase change material.

(The project proposes the development of a waste heat recovery system using of phase changing material, consisting of paraffin wax mixing with carbon to form composite PCM. This project was mainly constructed to utilize the waste or unused heat coming out from condenser of an air conditioner for some productive purpose. With this project we were able to achieve 4.3% increase in the COP of air conditioner. As carbon quantity increases COP% also increases, and also heat recovered by water also increases.)
