Professional Experience

I was a mortgage banker for over 40 years. I began as a loan officer when the business was all done face-to-face both with the real estate customer and the loan client. I have managed offices, trained sales persons and owned a mortgage banking company with a partner. I retired from mortgage banking in November of 2017

Trained sales staff for three offices; served as Branch Manager. Market focus was originating and processing FHA and VA loans; authorized FHA Correspondent.

Directly responsible for total loan administration; managed all departments including loan closing; purchased all commitments; agency-approved underwriter for FNMA,FHLMC and VA; developed servicing portfolio consisting of FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA mortgage backed securities.

Managing 10 branch offices originating residential loans in three western states. Prior experience included developing new office in San Fernando Valley from start-up as Branch Manager and loan producer, and within two years made it the number one branch in the company.
