·Created and implemented Antiretroviral Directly Observed Therapy for Greenwich House’s high-risk HIV/AIDS patients to promote adherence to medication regimen and eliminate homelessness; achieved 80% adherence rate and personal appreciation from patients who successfully overcame numerous obstacles as coordinator of high-risk clinic. Many acute care situations, including overdoses. Patients were also dual diagnosed.
·Served as Director of St. Clare’s Hospital’s Women & HIV Program providing primary and gynecological care (including colposcopies) for vulnerable populations within dedicated HIV ambulatory setting and correctional institutions; hired nutritionist and social worker for added services, provided health education for individuals and groups, and promoted sense of community, resulting in nurturing environment. Most patients were dual diagnosed, especially the prison population who transferred their care to the clinic upon release.
·As Community Health Nurse and Clinical Care Coordinator at Village Nursing Home, assisted with development and startup of the first AIDS-specific visiting nurse agency in the U.S. Utilized expert palliative care, mediation skills, and compassion to assuage difficult situations and provide comfort for patients. Majority of patients were also dual diagnosed.

·Contributed to first-year evaluation and second-year implementation of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program in collaboration with State of Connecticut Criminal Justice Department and UCONN School of Nursing and Office of Professional Development.
·Invited to serve as Regional Clinical Director at Vital Care Services to turn around NP performance and reverse revenue loss; analyzed scope of practice for each state in New England region, ensured complete adherence to policies and regulations, standardized multi-site protocols, and maintained accuracy of billing codes to achieve profitability prior to company sale.
·Instrumental in development of strong standards for gynecological care, pregnancy testing, and sexual health care for women as Founder & Coordinator, Women’s Health Center (WHC) at University of Connecticut (UCONN); worked with Medical Center staff to implement clinical rotations at WHC for OB-GYN residents and nursing students, led instructional programs including Woman’s Health Care Collective and University’s Rape Crisis Counseling Program, and taught courses for campus Resident Assistants.
·Implementing the second year and evaluating the previous years’ statewide Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program (SANE), that I developed for the State’s Criminal Justice Department. This was a collaborative effort with the State’s Criminal Justice Department, the University of Connecticut’s School of Nursing, and Office of Professional Development.
