• Born & brought up in Uttar Pradesh, Hindi is my mother tongue.
• Professionally teaching it since 1990. Over the years I have learnt so much - that I am in love with the language.
• I have been fortunate enough to get exposure to CBSCE, ICSCE and IB board curriculum over the recent years.
• Teaching it, creating interactive content - utilising the many tools that technology has brought along and understanding its many idiosyncrasies is my forte! Experience
MAY 2021 to Present - Hindi Subject Matter Expert, LEAD School Academic Creating online and offline teaching content for Grades 1 to 12. Also, checking and correcting the already present content to make it more interactive, fun and practical - for PAN India Schools. JUN 2020 to MAR 2021 - Asst. Manager of Accreditation & Assessment, VIBGYOR High School Created and translated the already existing Hindi Content for teaching and assessment for Vibgyor High’s 1st to 12th Standard. Also conducted workshops for teachers towards the use of various teaching aids and methodologies to make the classes more interactive and fun. AUG 2019 to MAY 2020 - Content Writer, K12 Techno Services Private Ltd. Created the Hindi Curriculum for Classes 1st to 8th Orchid International School. Conducted workshops for the teachers towards the proper usage and pronunciation techniques. OCT 2018 to JULY 2019 - Hindi Facilitator, Ascend International School Prepared classroom lectures, activities, tests and interactive quizzes for MYP classes. Set up classroom debates and oral presentations for kids to encourage use of speaking skills. JUNE 2016 to JUNE 2018 - Hindi Facilitator, Fazlani L’Academie Globale Successfully managed a class strength of 25 kids with personal attention to each child. Also organised Hindi Diwas festivities with the classes.
