● Preform die level maintenance and major die repairs

● Responsible for sharpening all dull die tooling from stamping department changovers

● Supports plant maintenance in any machining/welding needs

● Guiding team members in work instruction, and in troubleshooting dies to minimize downtime

● Manage spare tooling inventory and preparing orders for quote with outside vendors

● Coordinate with production managers to schedule necessary die improvements, managing dies and required repairs

● Assist in new die design projects maintaining a relationship with our Shanghai vendor through the manufacturing and conditioning process

● Utilize ZWCAD / AutoCAD to perform tooling design changes, also updating prints per shop request
