Under direct supervision, I handle customer inquiries, including but not limited to PCP changes, grievances and provider search. Customer Service Representative services prospective members, enrolled members, providers, employers, vendors, and other customers. I am responsible for resolving all aspects of customer inquiries and complaints, for providing accurate and timely responses, and for entering accurate information into the customer database. Advised providers on claims status on paid and rejected claims. Fax EOB’s and RA to providers. Submit not found claims for research as well as help with Benefits and eligibility of members. As a Med-tech I provide the residents with their medication. Reordered medication from the pharmacy and doctor’s office. Called the doctor’s office to get the correct orders and made sure the information was correct. I also contact the pharmacy to refill all the order for the residents and made sure the doctors’ orders were correct. Printed out the doctor orders and 602 forms when the resident’s went to the emergency room. Assisted nurses with any dressing changes they needed. I also did all end of life procedures paper work for funeral home, county office and preparing the body to be released to funeral home. I was in charge of destroying all expired medication. As a care giver I assisted with bed bathing and showers, food preparation and all needs of the resident.
