PROFILE

I have been retired since, April 30, 2019, from Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia.

I previously worked at Kelly AFB, Civil Service from 1981 - 1997 for a total of 16 years. Relocated to Robins AFB, 1998 - 2019 for a total of 37 years and 4 months combined . Having worked a variety of job positions throughout my career.

EXPERIENCE

Aircraft Documentation Specialist, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia - 2001 - 2019

Documented maintenance accomplished on aircraft’s undergoing Periodic Depot Maintenance. Attended meetings, met timelines, Received Incoming and Departed aircraft’s from Home stations. Followed Technical Orders, Guidelines, Diagrams, Time Compliance Items and updated due dates and time requirements. All maintenance history was input into a computer program where Home Base personnel could view previous and new aircraft history. Worked with many various computer programs in order to accomplish daily tasks. Dealt with military and civilian personnel from our base and all bases of aircrafts that were on our station. Worked on different Aircrafts doing the same job but, all were different due to the type of aircraft. Enjoyed working all my civilian career of 37 years and 4 months with the many different people, personalities, customs, visions and most of all working for the military.

Environmental Protection Assistant, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia - 1999 - 2001

Drove a forklift to change out 55 gallon drums with chemical waste, paint, oil … and took them to a storage facility and annotated drum labels with dates of install and removed to keep up with storage limits. Also, kept up with inventory of all paint, primers, chemicals and all sorts of supplies. Issued all supplies required for personnel to do their job tasks. Unloaded 55 gallon drums filled with chemicals and paint from a transport truck.

Aircraft Painter, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia - 1998 - 1999

Prepped Incoming aircrafts depending whether it was due a scuff sand and paint or a total de-paint and paint, taped areas that didn’t require paint, washed and chemical treated, primed, painted and stenciled aircrafts.

Amazon Associate, Amazon Warehouse, San Antonio, Texas - 2021 - 2022

Worked as a Full Time/Part Time Warehouse Fulfillment Center Associate in a fast paced environment. Scanned bar codes on small to large, light to heavy packages that came down a conveyor. Packages would come down a shoot from top of conveyor and land where we would have to keep up with the speed and amount of packages dropping down, scanned, picked up, put them designated carts being shipped to different centers for distribution. After the holiday season passed things slowed down and we would work on unloading or loading trucks of empty carts that were either being returned or were taken away due to being broken. We would do whatever we were told to do if we weren’t scanning. Safety was practiced at all times.

Retail Associate, Kohl’s Department Store, San Antonio, Texas - Nov 2021 - Mar 2022

I work as a Retail Associate at Kohl’s and have learned a variety of roles, such as working at Customer Service accomplishing returns, exchanges, credit card payments and help people with their cell phones in bringing up coupons or their Kohl’s App accounts. I’m learning to close register at closing when working at Customer Service. Work as a Sales Cashier, accomplish Amazon returns in store, have worked through out the store in all areas: Women’s, Junior, Men’s, Home and Kids departments. Also, return all clothing and store products that were in dressing rooms, items returned to Customer Service and items that were not purchased at Cash Registers. I also accomplish recovery towards end of shift, which is refolding clothes, picking up any clothing that might be on floor and put in designated areas. Register areas are cleaned up of clothing hangers, security tags in order to leave a clean area for the next shift. All employees help each other to accomplish tasks at hand.

SKILLS

Drove forklift, tug, truck, gas & air man lifts, painted. Back in the 80’s I was in different Clerical positions as a Secretary, Typist, Key Punch Operator, Computer Data Entry. Worked with various computer programs in order to accomplish my work.
