I’m working helping a friend get her business up and going on a commission bases, but I need more of a permanent income.

June 2021 – May 2022

I was employed as a Rental and Sales agent for Seeff Properties in Klerksdorp. My duties included the following: Rentals and Sales; booking appointments for clients to go and view the rental and sales properties; advertising new properties for rentals and sales; keeping track of the various property’s keys. Answering queries about rental and sales of properties. I was going to further my studies with Seeff but then the Seeff office closed down suddenly.

May 2020 – February 2021

I was employed as the Rentals Coordinator at Potch Eiendomme. I was doing rentals and sales. My duties included the following: Rentals and Sales; booking appointments for clients to go and view the rental and sales properties; advertising new properties for rentals and sales; keeping track of the various property’s keys. Answering queries about rental and sales of properties. Further to this I carried out credit checks on prospective tenants. I resigned at the end of February 2021 to take up an appointment in Klerksdorp but was let down just before I was due to take up the position as it appeared that the company had to shut down due to COVID.

October 2018 to April 2020

I was employed as a rentals and sales agent at Just Property Klerksdorp. I have done the training to be a sales agent. I have been trained by Chezleane McBeth from Apple Cherry Real Estate Training and Business Development. I am in the process of completing my logbook. I am also registered with the EAAB and have a valid FFC. My FFC number is: 1212349. I resigned to take up a position at Potch Eiendomme. September 2016 to January 2017

I was initially appointed as a rentals/sales agent at Harcourts in Klerksdorp. During this time, I was promoted to the accounts administrator for rentals properties. I was also doing property sales during this time.

I was the co-owner of a small food outlet in Mafikeng. During this time we took an ailing business and turned it into a lucrative business. Part of my duties as co-owner included the day to day administration and liaison between our suppliers, our customers and ourselves. Duties also included the ordering of stock, supervision of staff, customer interaction and the financial management of the business. Other duties included the administration of the staff to insure the smooth running of the business. The business was sold at the end of June 2004 because my husband was transferred to Klerksdorp.

March 1998 to August 1999

Employed by Huff Border Smith and Associates initially as an Administration Assistant. As my office skills increased so did my duties and responsibilities. Huff Border Smith was a Consulting Engineering Company, with an office in Mafikeng, which was involved closely with government departments in community construction projects as well as with the Tourism Information Development Centre. Reason for leaving: To be married on 11 September 1999, and enjoy my honeymoon, since my contract with Huff Border Smith was complete. There was uncertainty as to whether there would be a position for me after I returned, as this depended upon the company being awarded new contracts. The Mafikeng office closed down shortly after this time as no new contracts were forthcoming.
