Document all vital signs and progress notes in patient charts using EMR, patient teaching, insulin teaching, set appointments for patients, assist provider with any any procedures as necessary. Implement the nursing care plan for patients and recording the progress of the plan in their medical records. Document physician orders as instructed and carrying out LVN services in those orders. Provide appropriate response to emergency situations. Administer nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a physician’s assistant. Take patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition. Provide basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Responsible for patient triage.
