I am not proud of the fact that I passed up a full sports scholarship in 1984. I did everything I could do with a High School Diploma. Always worked hard but couldn't get it together for college. So, I joined the Marines and had the lesson of a lifetime. Not only did they teach me discipline, they taught me to hone in on my communication skills and problem solving skills. That's the best education I could have gotten and I thank them for that. But, I have no formal college education, just 6 years of active duty and 2 years of inactive reserves. Skills

Community Education Coordinator II

Build trust in the community by engaging in activities with the Residents and making their comfort and peace of mind a priority. Collaborate daily with nursing staff both in-house and with referral sources to assure needs are being met and communication is in place and open. If there are any problems that need addressing, I am always on the frontline of the issue to make sure both staff, referral source, and family feel supported.
