As a material coordinator I am responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. I conduct physical inventories, adjust and maintain inventory, stock, plant, and property account records. I receive all inventory departments material and verify that all materials have been accounted for and issued out to departments in a timely manner. Notifying departments that their materials are here and awaiting to be stored in a secure location. Conduct daily inspection with forklift and use it properly to pick or store equipment material when needed. When meeting with the department's supervisor I verify with them that all materials are accounted for and also make sure paperwork is signed and dated when receiving. As a supply technician I am responsible for providing storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identification, property utilization, and other related supply activities associated with automated parts and manual supply accounting systems.

I monitor automated parts of equipment, update statuses on work orders, order part’s that are requested for work orders, quantity parts that require lifting and receiving every week from class II to class IX. I then issue work orders with automated part’s too mechanics that need to be completed. I update material sheets that belong to equipment with multiple quantities of parts tracked and put in bins and stored in shelfs awaiting for wage leader’s to come and issue out to mechanics. Organize crates and vehicular tires on pallets outside the yard with a (ATLAS) All Terrain Forklift. Order automotive parts for inspectors that are needed for work orders. Finalize work orders to close out and follow up with units when equipment is ready for pickup. I also ensure that all mechanical tools have been accounted for, labeled and organized in each section, and thoroughly inspected for any damages that may need to be reported. Responsible for creating reports for all purchase requisitions for every unit we support and awaited to be funded by the state.

As a production controller for the combined support maintenance shop I monitor work orders through equipment situation reports having oversight of work orders. Changed statuses and expedited customer wait time. Provide all updates and status changes to the supervisor and prepare notes to brief all maintenance personnel. Provide customer service and assistance to support maintenance shops and units. Perform reconciliations with supported units to ensure all equipment is tracked and accounted for. Responsible for time management of fifty-plus personnel for any direct and indirect labor. Process and update employee schedules as work schedules change and or new employees are hired. Responsible for tracking time daily for all personnel employed at the facility. Closeout work orders daily and notify 10 to more maintenance shop supervisors and supply managers that work orders are completed and ready for pick up.

Currently, in my Unit I am assigned as a 92A for B co 40th BSB, I conduct monthly inventories with the company commander. I receive, inspect, inventory, load and unload, store, issue, and deliver equipment for training and storing incoming equipment when we return from training and supplies. Administering document control procedures and maintaining stock location system. Processing requests and turn-in documents at direct support level through warehousing section. Preparing, explaining, and distributing shipping documents. Operating material-handling equipment. I have extensive experience in Federal Stock Class, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and National Stock Number. I can catalog and locate stocks. I have the physical ability to carry and lift more than 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.

• Kept Operational Readiness of unit vehicles and equipment records. Reported conditions of vehicles and or equipment when repairs were needed. Controlled and created operational standards for Soldiers.

• Assisted, organized, and inserted over 200 pieces of equipment for eight incoming companies given to 87th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) Army month-long training session at the Army National Training Center (NTC).

• Assisted planning, oversaw, and processed over 70 work orders during the National Training Center month-long training session for Army operations. Worked diligently to ensure that parts were ordered in a timely fashion so that the 87th CSSB can maintain its combat power during sustainment operations.

• Assisted in the preparation of the annual Command Maintenance Evaluation Team Inspection

(COMET). Volunteer an estimated twenty-five hours after work to help meet COMET inspection requirements and assist company full-time staff with inspection preparations.

• Took initiative by learning the newly implemented Global Combat Support System (GCSS) to team members to increase understanding and improve cohesive goal setting. The COMET inspection weighed heavily on data transfer to the newly implemented GCSS program.

Deployed and attached to Charlie Battery 1-143 FA, 7th IBCT as a security force. I conducted daily safety inspections to all personnel who enter and depart the entry control points from ECP1 to ECP5. I was also able to conduct hundreds of searches of vehicles, luggage, and personnel entering the base with zero breaches of security. I was also in QRF (Quick Reaction Force) rapidly responding to developing situations within 10 minutes or less. Implemented maintenance checks and services on vehicles making sure they were mission capable for patrols around the base to prevent any possible threats.
