• Preparation of solution used forCO2 Plant. ( MEA, KMnO4,Na2CO3,)
• Carries out routine and non-routine analysis in the laboratory of samples collected from each Boiler, Distiller, and Town Water.
• Analysis of the samples to check the level of Ph, conductivity, hydrazine, phosphate, silica, chl orides. Ensures the quality of water and chemicals parameters meet the set specification.
• Controls chemical parameters of the boiler feed water and boiler drums steam to prevent corr osion and damage to the plant.
• Carries out routine sampling/analysis of chemical parameters in boiler water steam cycle (boi ler feed water, boiler water, steam, and condensate) in accordance with ATPC monitoring samp ling standard.
• Checks the chemical levels in service tanks.
• Monitors online analyzers’ reading, records them in log sheets.
• Coordinates with operation during start up and shut down of boilers.
• Keeps under observation the remineralization plant and acts if required to transfer lime.
• Keeps under observation the water treatment plant.
• Records all the results of chemical analysis in the daily log sheets.
• Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by direct supervisor.
• Prepare solution for online analyzers.
• Monitor Hypo, Town water, Service water system to control the quality of water, cooling tow er, neutralization pits, Boiler feed water etc.
