Perform Masking operations efficiently while accomplishing hourly goals.
Knowledgeable and familiar with Masking various parts, such as Segments, Turbine Wheels, etc.
Knowledgeable of Masking procedures and specs MK001, MK002.
Sought out to conduct test and review of new proposed tools, procedures, and various task in conjunction with Engineering Department.
Provide feedback to Quality, and Engineering Departments to determine root cause of Quality defects.
Train and develop new hires on correct procedures and steps to follow to become a superior Masker.
Leader in Masking Department taking the initiative to set up Customer Displays and discuss operational functions with various outside visitors such as potential customers, and fellow Chromalloy employees from sister sites to name a few.
Perform various department audits such as Self Evaluation Check Sheet.
Identify defects with parts prior to masking and report such finding to Inspector or Lead for proper notation of issue.
Familiar with various part defects such as, pitting, plating spalling, linear indications, burrs, etc.
