Manage and oversee the operation of all residences, provide a home-like environment for individuals under the agency’s care and assist with the development of their independence and community integration. Provide leadership to staff by implementing their responsibilities, advocacy and support to the individuals and their families. Ensure required documentation is accurate and updated per agency’s guidelines, policies, and procedures. Authorize to approve expenditures at the maximum of one hundred dollars, provide supervision to Assistant Manager, Medical Care Worker, Direct Support Supervisor and Direct Care Support Professionals including hiring, training, supervising, regular staff meetings, weekly schedules, on-going development, and performance evaluation. Participate in all ISP/IDT meetings, both at the residence and day program. Develop plans of Protective Oversight for the residence and everyone we support. Review ISPs, Residential Habilitation Plans, goals and plans on a regular basis for accuracy. Submit ISP addendum to MSC for all significant changes. Ensure that IDT meetings are held at least annually.
