I operated the extruder machine that made the fish food I will come in around 5:30 check my machine to make sure that everything was clean inside and out I would then put the machine back together for the previous shift from when they cleaned it I will make sure did I have all the necessary material that I need if I do not have a necessary material that I need I would then get on the forklift and proceed to grab the material then I need once I have my material I will start the oven up so it can reach a temperature of 185 if they needed help with forklift I will also help them out with forklifting and I also did that she for my machine I will get with my own shift supervisor to get the best sheets to find out which materials that I would need the depending on we were making if it was special for the bottom feeders I will get served material out if it was food for the fish that eat from the top of the pie I will get that material out we have 50 lb bags of material and we will require to weigh the material before we put it inside the mixer blender we will required to do that so we will get the product exactly how they want it so it would not be too much sodium or too much garlic or too much fish meal or shrimp meal or too much color inside the batch we will required to make a 6,000 pound batch a day at the end of my shift I will probably ship the machine down I will clean the machine I will break the machine down to clean the inside of the machine so the material that's inside the machine will not party up and stop the blade from doing his job I will go around the machine and properly check the machine down once the machine is shut down I will then turning my paperwork to quality control it was required of us to weigh the material wet product and dry product and they was coming out of the machine and out of the oven we will require you to do this every few hours we were also require you to check our product to see if it was sinking or floating we will get a bucket as the product was coming at the out of the machine to the conveyor belt I will grab some material and drop it inside of a bucket of water to see if floated or sink depends on what we were making if we wanted it to sink and it floated I knew that I had to and just how much Steam and water mixing to the product if I wanted it to float and they think I knew that I had to adjust the steam itself and not the water once I finish that check then I knew my product was good to go and I will inform quality that I have finished my check and they could come and check it we were required to do this so we can get the product right for the type of fish that we were making the food for I will also spray the machine down the end of my shift under the machine and then once I'm finished I would squeegee the floor I will double check my material to make sure I have everything set up for the next shift Machine Operator
