My motor industry career started in April 1995 as a Sales Executive at the used sales department of Garden City Motors in Krugersdorp. In the past twenty-seven (27) years I have gained valuable experience and built lasting relationships within the motor industry in SA ACHIEVEMENTS:
- I took over the used vehicle sales department at Mitsubishi Centurion, as a first-time manager. The department had shown losses for two years, there were no structures in place and old unsellable stock. I managed to show a profit, three months after being appointed.
- Being promoted to Brand used vehicle Sales Manager after only a year and a half as a department manager.
- Taking on a huge challenge of Divisional Manager for pre-owned vehicles in Witbank, getting rid of the old stock, old demo stock and the old way of doing business was probably one of my biggest challenges yet.
- My first encounter with commercial vehicles co-in sided with the global economic recession in 2009. I managed to change the focus of the dealership to a different segment of the market and ended the year with a profit.
- I ended the 2015 financial year with a R3 Million profit over budget.
- The dealership has won Mercedes Benz Sales Achievements Awards for three consecutive years: 2013, 2014 and 2015.
