Cailo Marketing Services

• Preparation of IFRS compliant periodic financial and management reports (monthly and annually) in line with Head Office deadlines together with commentary and analysis.

• Preparation of IFRS and statutory compliant group annual report complete with accounting policy notes, IAS 29 adjustments for prior and current year and complete roll over of prior period balances.

• Preparation of quality monthly management reports mainly focusing on revenue/income, debtors, creditors, cashflow property plant and equipment and statutories.

• Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly and five-year forecasts in line with the organisation and the Group’s objectives and strategies.

• External audit process coordination as directed by the group FC ensuring that all group company audits are executed on time and that the overall group audit is finalised on time.

• Quarterly internal audit process coordination as directed by board of directors, ensuring tracking and updating of all outstanding issues before the next board meeting.

• Working Capital and Cash Flow management - planning and forecasting for immediate and foreseeable future cash and funds use, to ensure salaries, statutories and other expenses are paid on time.

• Tax Administration; assisting the finance manager with technical tax matters and making recommendations on correct treatment and strategies, interacting with Zimra, planning and drafting defences for the benefit of the company in order to minimize tax bills, reviewing all tax computations and filing returns when due.

• Preparation of quarterly board packs for the board meeting to ensure circulation to board members is before the notice period.

• Reviewing work undertaken by clerical staff, this includes review of invoices for payments, bookkeeping and other performance reports.

• Maintain and monitor intercompany transactions and balances between Cailo Marketing and related party customers such as Lobels Bread and Cairns Foods ensuring that all outstanding balances are cleared on time.

• Analyse financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes and other strategic initiatives as requested by management, monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances.
