Practice Supervisor:
Prepared working schedule for front desk associates. Trained associates on any new Standard Operating Procedures when checking in patients and collecting co-pays. Approved associate's time in Kronos and approved time off in WorkDay. Helped associates on a daily basis with questions or concerns on several issues. Ordered supplies and forms that were needed to check in a patient for the Immediate Care and for Occupational Health
Also ordered items for clinic from Materials Management Balanced and posted Medical receptionist batches, and made out deposits to the bank. Fixed any errors that occurred in the batches also. Daily reporting on number of patients per day in the clinic, hours worked for providers, clinicals, and receptionist, x-rays done and patients sent to emergency room for further care. Also several other reports making sure all providers completed their charts and billed patients in a timely manner. Various reports were done to verify all information was entered correctly when registering patients, that insurance was verified and that the co-pay was collected and entered into system. Recorded and scanned all patient surveys and did report of comments to management.
Worked closely with Occupational Health area, attended several monthly meetings, was part of the Super User group and attended Leadership meetings. Worked with the other Practice Supervisors sharing employees when clinics were short staffed.
Also covered for the front desk and resulted Occupational Health findings to companies when needed. There were many duties of the Practice Supervisor and I enjoyed all of them.
