Responsibilities:

Keeping a daily log of all activities / test done.

Review the material submittals against its compliance with the project specifications and keep updated on its status of approval.

Review quality documents such as Method Statement, and Inspection and test Plans (ITP’s) and ensure that these documents are conforming to project, and all statutory and legal requirements.

Ensure that all compliance issues are upheld and carry out inspections and testing plans, identifying, and following up on all matters related to QA/QC.

Review weekly and monthly reports as presented by the Contractor and present comments of non-compliance and / or area of concern and corrective actions.

Review MAR with CRS comments to raise material inspection.

Ensure documentation of policies, standards, procedures and manuals for reference and implementation for the project. Monitor that the project documentations are all updated and properly maintained.

Ensure the quality of workmanship at site if they adhere to the procedures detailed on the approved method statement, inspection & test plans, project contract requirements or related technical recommendation by the manufacturer.

Ensures all materials delivered to the site are compliant with approved material submittal and are properly stored.

Coordinates with all Material Engineers for all material inspection requests on the project.

Ensure the latest revisions of approved documents are available and used at site, including but not limited to Method statements, shop drawings, ITPs, procedures, plans etc.

Provides feedback/reports to Quality Control Manager for any quality related issues/concerns.

Meeting review periods for each type of documents assigned and updating the status with Document control as required

Ensure reference to the latest approved shop drawings at site at the time of execution by creating clear and updated records that can be easily access by the project team.

Establish and implement material management procedure for the project from submission, delivery, inspection, testing, acceptance, and safe storage for all materials.

Assists the Quality Manager in the preparation of project reporting, including technical logs, workflow, documentation status and close out, NCR/SOR, Inspections, Testing etc.

Assists the project teams when required for the contractor’s payments applications and claims.

Issue and administer all Quality Observations and Non-conformance Report (NCR) for the project and ensure that construction team are rectifying the reported quality issues for its proper close-out.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.

Supervise contractor installation works and then Inspect and record the construction works carried out by the contractor on site and resolve the site generated issues.

Monitoring the correct execution of all mechanical site activities (MEP, Infrastructure Utilities & LPG system) with technical requirements, the standards, the approved inspection & test plan, work method statement and the risk assessments, ensuring contractor and subcon’s work quality is compliant to contract requirements and good construction practice.
