FileNet WAL API, BizCom Faxing

I was part of the team which first time implemented FileNet. I was hired for C++, COM and COM+.

I wrote the FileNet WAL API in C++ which was used to move documents into FileNet repository or move documents out of FileNet. It included other functions such as deleting images or updating images. It is still in use. I also wrote the services which were used to read images coming over the network and to move those images into FileNet repository. It is still used today. I also wrote faxing functionality where images coming through faxes could be moved into image repository. C++ & C# was used.

Wrote the workflow system for Wells Fargo Bank, and implemented this architecture.

Wrote lower level WAL & Desktop API. This functionality is used in retrieving images and metadata from the File Net repository. This is used for updating the indexes and for deleting the Meta data and the images from the File Net repository. I wrote this in C, VC++ 8.0 using File Net INX library.

File Net Workflow Application Spider

Wrote a Workflow application Spider using WAL API which retrieves the data from the Distribution Queue and move to the SQL database.

Wrote a windows service which continuously scans the Distribution Queue and if the data is available. It moves the data from File Net Queue to the SQL database. The data is moved from both ends (Distribution Queue & the SQL database) in a transaction. Finally, this data is assigned to the users for business purpose.

The windows service was written in C# using .Net remoting and named pipes. The WAL API was written in VC++8.0 .Net.

ELF Faxing System to send/Receive Faxes -Fax Process

Wrote the Wells Fargo Faxing system. This project uses COM API from BisCom. The Faxing System retrieves the images from the File Net repository, it Fax out the retrieved documents in TIFF and PDF format. The System also receives the Faxes.

This application was written in C#. The system is capable of transmitting 1000 fax documents or attachments in one cycle. The application transmits the fax and logs the Fax data into a tracking Oracle database. The Fax application assigns a unique identifier to each sent fax. I have written ASP.Net Web service to retrieve the Fax data

ELF BisComFaxService

Wrote n a Windows service to retrieve the Fax status from the Fax Server.

This application uses Remoting and named pipes to isolate the user from the data. This application continuously scans the Fax Server at regular intervals to retrieve the available Fax status. The retrieved status is updated in the database for later use. The BisComFaxService is capable to retrieve Fax data from last two months.

This application was written in C# and ADO.NET. I have written ASP.Net Web Services for front end use where the user enters the required Fax data. I worked on the Panx system. This project enables the pilot to order the required items from the ground station. This project will replace the old manual process in commercial planes.

In the eFlight project I wrote a fully configurable electronic flight bag GUI.

Designed the functionality to automatically launch the applications at the start up of the eFlight applications.

Worked on authentication for pages navigating.

Wrote the functionality to load and display the available software’s in the eFlight application, also the functionality where the pilot and co-pilot will enter the aircraft id, location at the start of the eFlight application.

Created eFlight GUI fully configurable. In eFlight project wrote level2 requirements and level3 requirements. I also wrote the eFlight design document.

This Project is developed using Client/Server 3-Tier Architecture to collect all the manufacturing shop floor collection details. The Presentation layer contains the forms.
