I learned their formula. I was dating someone who worked across the street at Don Lapre. Half the time I answered his after hours calls just for the experience. I learned a lot about sales and humanity.
Again, it felt wrong, for me. I did like the idea that people were not capable of making decisions.
My biggest lesson during this time was that for me to do well. I needed a product or service that I wanted or would need in the future.

EDUCATION
I attended school and graduated early from Merced High School in 1988. While attending high school I was part of a pilot program that allowed me to take College classes as an elective during my Junior and Senior years. I was a foster child from the age of 11 and just not grounded enough. I did make the most of the opportunity while it lasted.
As I mentioned I graduated early and Married young. As a young wife I had the opportunity to attend college as my husband was Active Military. I attended two years at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. In addition to core curriculum I obtained permission to take a greater load than recommended and took every psychology course available. Clinical studies were not available on campus I would have needed to be in Anchorage.. so you might say I just indulged in academia for the time I was married.
War happened Desert Storm / Desert Shield. My marriage became a casualty of war and I never made it back to school.
AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I have a folder full of achievements. I am smart and knowledge driven. Sometimes to the point of getting in my own way.
I will address the elephant in the room. I am still looking for the right fit.
