My name is Mercedes Montgomery, and I am from Jackson, MS. My family and I are looking to relocate to Oklahoma. I am seeking a position as a Dental Assistant in your facility. As the enclosed resume outlines, I have successfully completed the requirements to obtain a certification as a dental assistant at Delta Technical College in Ridgeland, MS. While in the program, I received a radiology license as well as a CPR license. I am also licensed in HIPPA and Infection Control through DANB.
In addition to traditional classes at Delta Technical College, I was able to complete an externship at Bender Dental and Associates. There, I learned how to manually develop radiographs. Furthermore, at Arrington Dental I experienced a variety of dental procedures such as constructing mini dental implants, root canal specialists, oral surgery, orthodontics, and general dentistry.
Through my own experience, I have learned to be patient oriented while maintaining professionalism in the workplace. I have also learned to appreciate four-hand as well as six-hand dentistry.
