Handled ISO 9001:2015 audit for Healthcare

Job Profile

Ensure implementation of NABH Accreditation Standards for HCO (5th edition) & ISO 9001:2015 across the hospital

Monitor compliance with the accreditation standards

Prepare Annual Operational Plan for Quality & Patient Safety

Prepare Quality Budget

Represent the unit for various regional and PAN India quality initiatives, meetings, conferences and campaigns

Review Quality & Patient Safety Program to maintain adequacy, effectiveness & continual improvement

Audits / Surveys

- Plan & schedule Internal Audits across the hospital

- Regional internal audits once in a year

- Review internal audit reports & ensure closures of the same

- Prepare closure report for external audits

- Liaise with & guide respective stakeholder for appropriate closure of external audit observations and non-compliances

- Conduct safety culture survey

- Oversee compliance with various monthly audits

- Analysis of monthly reports of four units in Mumbai, suggest/implement CAPA w.r.t. any common issues/problem areas

Committees

- Prepare annual committee calendar and ensure adherence to it by the committee conveners

- Schedule & convene meetings of Quality & Patient Safety committee, Management Review Committee, Core Safety Committee, Incident Review Committee, Validation Committee

- Prepare the minutes of meeting & circulate to all committee members and the process owners

- Conduct committee review and monitor effectiveness of the committees

- Organize & lead the quarterly regional quality forum

Quality Indicators

- Define the Quality Indicators with Benchmarks and guide the respective stake holders for the same

- Monitor & Analyze the Quality Indicators and guide the stakeholders for appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions

- Identify the need of Quality Improvement in a particular area / department, Plan and Execute QIPs in those areas in consultation with CEO, MS and respective stake holders 3

- Few QIPs with remarkable improvement – Medication Reconciliation Process, Reducing the TAT for STAT indents in ICU, Blood Transfusion Safety, Antimicrobial stewardship program

Document review & control

- Draft and Review Policies and Procedures

- Ensure effective implementation of Standard Operating procedures with periodic review of SOPs and policies

- Standardize and Control various documents across the hospital

Trainings

- Oversee the annual training program conducted by HR

- Ensure compliance with the mandatory trainings

- Identify quality related training needs and address those accordingly

- Conduct trainings on Quality, Patient Safety including IPSG, Clinical documentation, accreditation standards

- Ensure training effectiveness through surprise rounds & interviews

Oversee compliance with -

- Regulatory requirements

- Mock drills

- Equipment calibration/maintenance program,

- Infection control and AMS program

Operations

- Responsible for routine operations of Emergency Department, Diagnostic Depts. (Radiology, Laboratory, Non-Invasive Cardiology)

- Overseeing various functions and processes of wards & OPD

Events & Programs

- Patient Safety Awareness Week (Twice a year)

- World Quality Month (Annual)
