Along with a strong work ethic, I believe that a high level of both written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills would serve to complement my knowledge of various administrative tasks, duties, and procedures. This position may call for more than one year of customer service experience. Although I can only list one company where I held a position as a customer service representative, I feel that it is quite accurate to say that teaching ESL in the U. S. in a variety of venues and abroad (Mexico and Taiwan) to primary adults for over 30 years required a good amount of customer service.
At the inception of the pandemic when schools were closed, I took a position in customer service as a help desk agent. There was always a heavy call volume, but I was able to keep up with that and develop skills such as working with a variety of computer programs and most importantly enabling customers with serious needs to become self-sufficient. I would either register them or assist those who may have needed assistance when they tried on their own to enter the Pennsylvania Medical Mamajuana program. Also, once clients were in the program, they may have needed password resets or other help with their accounts. In addition to my own skill set that I had brought with me, those that I acquired, in addition, were valuable additions. I expect to grow and achieve more as I am exposed to increased areas and levels.
