Topic - Abrasive Jet Machining

Aim - To revive in house AJM & to do experimental investigation on glass material of different thickness using Tungsten carbide nozzle and abrasive particle such as aluminium oxide and silicon carbide.

• Vocational training of 15 days in PRABHA STEEL INDUSTRIES, Baroda Co-Operative Industrial Estate, Chhani Road, Vadodara.

• Vocational training of 15 days at SHREEJI ENGINEERING WORKS, Makarpura G.I.D.C, Vadodara.

• Doing petroling inspection on hourly basis and making report of in-process inspection.

• Doing statistical process control of critical dimensions.

• Doing visual inspection of parts in Pre Dispatch Inspection Area.

• Making sample part inspection reports for new die approval.

• Knowledge about how to use various measuring instruments like Vernier calliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Depth gauge, Bevel protector and various types of Air pressure gauges and PPG etc.

• Knowledge about CNC and VMC machines.

• Monitoring in process machining parameters in check sheets and programs like speed, feed, coolent concentration, tool life etc.
