PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
• The name giver of Merger between Montego Cooperative Credit Union and Hanover Credit Union: Gateway Cooperative Credit Union. Event and award was held in the year 2015.
• Rural Agricultural Development Authority (R.A.D.A.) Agricultural Show 2015. This is an annual Agricultural Show that farmers across the county of Cornwall come to showcase their provisions and celebrate the festivity of Harvest after they have started their new business. This show helped me to learn how the Credit Union and other financial institutions monitor the progress of young business owners
(members) and showed how each business moved from starting point to blossoming point under the care of the institution. The then Bus. Loans Officer Mr. Malcolm and I attended these and other events as such where we interacted with these existing members to monitor their growth.
• The Marketing Seminar 2015. This Seminar was held on March 27th 2015 at the Montego Bay Community College: “Marketing Innovations; Transforming Businesses in a diverse World”. The keynote speaker at the seminar was Mrs. Bethany Young, Marketing Manager the Rain Forest Seafood.
• Public’s Relation and Supervisory Training Workshop 2019. JCCUL Kingston 8 Jamaica. This annual workshop focuses on training young aspiring Supervisors within the Unions workforce and preparing them for intermediary level positions with Employers.

EXPERIENCE
• Gateway Cooperative Credit Union 2017 L.t.d.- Marketing/ Business Development Officer (2015-2021). These duties included:
- Attend Public Relations and Supervisory Committee Workshop Meetings in JCCUL Kingston before disseminating ideas to our Montego Bay Business Development Team members.
- Supervised the Business Development Department (Road Team) of team of 8 for a period of 5 months in the year 2019.
- Drive/Visit various business Centers on behalf of the Credit Union and conduct business and Monetary transactions from Customers.
- Selling Gateway Products and Services to members and prospective members at their locations and exceeding Sales targets (M/V Loans, Mortgages, Golden Harvest, FIP, CR Fip, Partner plans etc).
- Marketing the Brand Image and maintaining business development while liaising directly with management.
- Assisting with planning and executing all major events from inception to end. The major events include: Gateway Quiz competition, Gateway Annual General Meetings and Bailey Haye Scholarships Awards.
- Building and maintaining new and existing business relationships with companies through presentations and Speaking at Social Events (P.R.O. Duties).
- Monetary Cash Collection duties (P.O.S. and Physical Cash)/Teller Duties. Writing Up of Loan Applications (Mortgage, Unsecured, Motor Vehicle, etc).
- Growing and Maintaining business portfolio through personalized customer service of clients located across the western parishes (Westmorland, St. James & Trelawney)
- Preparing short press releases about special events that the company would part take in and send to our local newspaper The Gleaner for public advertisement. Monthly Sales Targets included:

• The Tryall Hotel & Spa – This was a period where I worked as receptionist and reservations agent for the hotel guests. This was in the year 2014-2016
• The Alliance One Inc. (Customer Service Department) The time period was August 03, 2011 to September 01, 2011. My duties included providing customer service to L.I.M.E. tele-communications network mobile customers.
