I was responsible for leading a team of 3 composites technicians tasked with fabricating and repairing composite aircraft parts for a military contract. I was one of only a few people in the country certified to perform Fokker stainless steel inlet repairs. I was also responsible for fabricating tooling plugs as well as male and female master molds. All of this work involved fiberglass and carbon fiber as well as bonded metal utilizing vacuum bagging and hot bonding. I was also responsible for setting up and operating the autoclave. I was sent on several occasions to various companies as a consultant to help them become ISO9001 certified as a military vendor.

I was responsible for leading a team of 3 composite technicians tasked with the fabrication and assembly of the empennage for the Edge 540 Competition Aerobatic Aircraft. I was also the lead composite layup technician for all government projects. I fabricated molds and tooling as well as setup the 5-axis CNC router. All work was performed using fiberglass and carbon fiber as well as other proprietary composite systems.

I was responsible for leading a team of 12 composite technicians tasked with fabricating aircraft components for the Kestrel Composite Aircraft. I also built test fixtures to test the ultimate design loads of the various components. All components were layed up in molds and then put into an autoclave to cure. I was also responsible for ensuring the autoclave maintained parameters during the curing process to meet all quality control standards.
