Employed with M/S.Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, as a Quality control Engineer in the department of Manufacturing Inspection & Stores. I have supervised & worked in various units of CNC Machine shop, Convectional Machine shop, Export Machine shop and Sub Assembly to Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) & drawing requirements. I have conducted Vendor inspection for Auditing the Vendor and also inspection of Detail machined parts. My responsibilities incluided rating the vendors on their performance and submitting the report to the Organisation. I had to conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), First off Inspection in shops across various units. For FAI, all necessary documents have to prepared for submission to different agencies.M/S. HAL carries out business with various agencies in Manufacturign component detail parts & Assemblies and supplies it to Airbus of France, Boeing of USA, IAI Cargo doors of Israel. In addition to this M/S. HAL is also manufacturing and Assembling for LCA, IJT, PTA, ALH, Dornier, Jaguar, Kiran, components for Space projects etc. I was fully associated with the Detailed Inspection & clearance of the above projects. I have also worked in Tooling Inspection for two years for quality check on jig & fixtures. M/S.HAL, Aircraft Division is approved by ISO 9001,ASO9100,& also by FAA. I was trained in ISO & ASO and applying regularly for day to day work. I was in-charge for Hawk project in the Department of Receiving Store Inspection for carrying out quality check. I was responisible for inspecting & clearing of all Components, Different types of LRU’s, Landing gears,Ejection seats and also consumables like paints,Adhesive,Different types of raw materials.

Special task: I was assigned special task of proving all First off Machined parts and preparing FAI to submit to the M/S. Airbus, Boeing which was successfully done. For Jaguar the indigenous canopy frame has to be made from magnesium casting and machining it requires machine drawing, which was successfully carried out by me.I am a certified and approved Quality officer by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Also recognised by DGAQA & DGCA for Civil Aircraft by Ministry of Civil Aviation to carry out Inspection of aircraft parts for both defence & civil aircraft.

Worked as Quality consultant for more than a year in a private firm in Bangalore after retirement.
