Sr. QA Test Analyst: Allied Technology Group: US Department of State Feb 2007 – Jul 2015

While supporting the United States Department of State SMART (State Messaging and Archive Retrieval Toolset) program as the Senior Software Quality Assurance Test Analyst, I was required to create, implement, and maintain a dynamic Agile regression test suite. Framework consisted of multiple functional as well as non-functional test cases integrated with HP Quality Center and Microsoft Team Foundation Server. I was responsible leading a team of multiple technical testers, while working collaboratively with multiple cross-functional engineering teams. Also worked directly with Department of State Customer Product Owner liaison to address requirements clarification questions and design issues. Other Responsibilities included:

Single handily tested Legacy messaging applications and validating database compliance

Validated messages received from different legacy systems processed correctly in State Messaging and Archive Retrieval Toolset

Created Test Planning, Test Execution, Test Reporting implementation strategies for all test phases/levels including system testing, regression testing, feature testing and smoke testing

Support work on software quality assurance testing processes, and mentored team members with QA Best Practices.

Other duties included participating in Client Site Visits that provided opportunity to establish and foster client relationships, while also providing opportunity to develop deeper understanding and knowledge of use of SMART system.
