1. June 2016 to June 2018 El Paso Independent School District—Worked as school nurse for Pre Kinder to 5th grade students at Hawkins Elementary. In charge of total care of students and staff. Took blood pressures manually, preceptor for RN nursing students from UMC hospital and El Paso Community College, planned a school wide health fair.

2. January 2016 to February 2016 Contract Work Comprehensive Medical Health Services hired through Delta—to manage the total health care of 150 unaccompanied migrant minors at White Sands.

3. August 2013 to August 2016 FABENS ISD -- Managing care as substitute RN for 5 schools from Pre K to Early College. Collaborating with principals, teachers, parents, doctors, other nurses, physical therapists, diagnosticians, pharmacists for the total health care of healthy students, sick students, special education students, sick staff. Coordination of health care to include assessments, vaccinations, sick call, medications, emergencies, health classes, screenings, referrals.

4. June 2012 to August 2013 Worked taking care of my daughter.

5. August 2000 to June 2012 Fabens ISD (O’Donnell Elementary) Managed care of 600 students including catheterization of student twice daily collaborating with parent and specialty doctors. Coordination of home visits with parent and physical therapist.

12. June 1977 to August 1985 SANTA ROSA HOSPITAL, San Antonio, Texas – Nurse supervisor on geriatrics floor with patients who had strokes, heart attacks, falls, gastric illnesses, some who were confused. Assessed patients, started IVs, gave medications, taught diabetics, changed wound dressings, inserted urinary catheters, inserted gastric tubes, suctioned patients, performed CPR as necessary, administered oxygen. 13. June 1974 to June 1977 THE PATRICIAN MOVEMENT DRUG REHAB – San Antonio, Texas. Set up the federal guidelines for the program both for residential and outpatient treatment of drug addicts. 400 in house patients and 100 outpatient. Managed the care of all clients of all ages past 13 years of age. Did initial assessment, drew blood for lab testing, administered medications, kept records. Collaborated with director, psychiatrist, counselors, families. Coordinated and established care plan at team meetings.

14. June 1971 to May 1974 SANTA ROSA HOSPITAL in San Antonio, Texas – Staff nurse in Medical ICU and Surgical ICU. Gave IV vital medication. Collaborated with doctors, nurses, family in managing patient care.
