Career Experience

Working as a Divisional Engineer in National Telecommunication Corporation(NTC) from February 2008- till now

Worked as a team leader in Pakistan Foresight Communication Company from December 2006 to October 2007

NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATION CORPORATION

Duties/Responsibilities:

To manage all the administration/Technical matter of these sites i-e Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Bhalwal, Sargodha, Khushab, Toba Tak Singh.

To handle more than 100 Employees & 72 x pensioners under jurisdiction of Faisalabad division i-e ( 6 x District )Faisalabad,Chiniot,Jhang,Toba Tak Singh,Sargodha,Khushab

Meeting with different Deputy Commissioners /Assistant Commissioner /ADC(R) for transfer of vested Land/Property in the name of NTC.

Daily basis meeting with different designed customers for handle the matter regarding telecom services,and capture new business opportunity under jurisdiction of Faisalabad division

Responsible for preparation of PC-II, Network design, planning, Implementation schedule, operations, maintenance and commissioning of network equipment

Responsible for configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of core and access equipment.

Monitoring the security system devices in all 20 x Exchanges

Responsible for installation, configuration and rollouts of TDM to IP migration projects and also implement within time frame.

Responsible for performing quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily maintenance activities including patch updates, database backups, alarm acknowledgements, optimizations.

Develop plans and recommendations for optimization and integration of new system and network devices.

Operation and maintenance of Active directory services, and billing servers in order to ensure smooth operations.

Designing of SOP (standard operational procedures) for new systems and devices as a reference in order to finalize SLA agreements with the clients.

Provide level 2 and 3 technical support to corporate and individual customer’s issues escalated through ticket generating system.

To manage the country wide wireless operation, configuration, troubleshooting and quality checking of NTC wireless services.

To coordinate with PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) for approval of UAN(Universal Access Nos), Toll free Number, Short code and PRI (access codes).

To Implementation of Numbering plan as per directives of PTA.

Creation/configuration of desired services i-e UAN, Toll free Nos, PRI’s Access Code, short code in our network and also co-ordination with OMO’s and LLOs.

To Coordinate with FAB(Frequency Allocation Board) for approval of DRS/Microwave links.

To reconciled/settlement of co-location facility (space,power,media),DIU’s, Hiring/De-hiring of Media,Tie pair, Tower with PTCL and OMO’s on quarterly/Annual basis.

Achievement during NTC services

Hand on experience for installation, commissioning and troubleshooting the Huawei MSAG 5600T, MSAG 5600U and Huawei aggregation switch.

Hand on experience and project implement “TDM to IP Migration” and live service shifting from old telecom equipment into New telecom system.

Hand on experience for Installation and commissioning of DWDM OSN 6800,OSN 1500 (Huawei) and SDH OSN 7500 STM-1,STM-4.STM-16,STM-64.

Wireless broadband services start more than 15 cities of Pakistan within 1 year and its big achievement of NTC history.

To save millions of rupees on annual reconciliation between NTC and other Telecom Operator i-e M/s Mobilink,M/s Telenor,M/s PTCL,M/s Wateen Telecom for the F-Y 2009-10.

Pakistan Foresight Communication

Mojor Responsibilities:

As a BSS Engineer in Pakistan Foresight communication for the project of M/s Warid and M/s U-Fone GSM Project South (Pakistan) from 2006 to 2007

To manage as a team leader and monitor hardware, Installation, Commissioning, Integration and Troubleshooting of BTS312, BTS3012, BTS3012AE.

To installed/commission of site alarms i-e (Genset,Rectifier,water sensor, temperature & humidity sensor,door sensor) etc of whole sites of M/s Warid and M/s U-fone (indoor/outdoor) as per huawei standard.

To conduct Provisional Acceptance Test (PAT) of M/s Warid and U-fone in South region and successfully handed over site from Huawei to operators i-e M/s Warid. and U-fone.

Achievement during services

Commissioning/installation and confirmation of 50 sites on different cities i-e Faisalabad,R.Yar khan, sadiqabad,sukkur, Hyderabad,karachi

AS a Team Leader in Warid and Ufone Projects(sindh) from February 2006 to March 2007

Major Responsibilities as a team leader.

Installation, Troubleshooting and Commissioning of Huawei BTS312 and indoor BTS3012 & outdoor BTS3012AE.

Check the status of all Boards and Modules before power on the BTS.

Alarm testing to OMC.

Call test after completion of Commissioning.

Patch the E1 Media cables according to the E1 plan to the both Hub sites and Terminal sites.

Check the VSWR and TX power by using Site Master (Anritsu and Bird).

Power Meter for TREs power checking.

Check the BER with E1 Tester.

Installation and Troubleshooting of Emerson Network Power Rectifier.

Site surveying & the check the sites are Ready for Installation.

Supervise the complete installation of Indoor and Outdoor Unit according to the layout.

Responsible for the Quality of Installation according to the specified standard.
