Supervised the quality inspection department inspectors. Works within every production department to inspect all manufacturing procedures are followed. Generate NCR’s for all non-conforming issues during the manufacturing process; machining, weld dept, paint, assembly and during the testing phases and the final dress out and completion of our equipment. Performs dimensional inspection of parts and assemblies to print. Works with our engineering department to update drawings and suggest ECR Engineering Change Requests to improve the design or assembly process during production runs of our manufactured products of : Mobile well stimulation equipment - Blenders, Frac Pumps, Data vans, Rail Kings, Seismic Equipment, Generators. Tracked and maintained welder continuity of over welding departments. Tracked dimensional inspection tools, confirming they are calibrated if they are being used in production for inspection of manufactured parts. QA/QC Supervisor / Welding Supervisor / NDE Supervisor / R&D Technician

Works with all facets of manufacturing and supervised NDE department. Performs dimensional inspection of valves part assemblies, and welded components and piping. Reviewed RT film inspection of casting repairs and rejected high pressure weldments. Inspect and trouble shoots quality issues during assembly and machining to confirm dimensional tolerances are acquired during the final machining process. Generates NCR’s for all non-conforming parts or processes. Pressure tested valves in liquid nitrogen bath inside a cryogenic chamber while monitoring pressure leak rates for compliance. Assisted third party inspectors during their witness points of; pressure testing, various stages of the welding, coating, clean room and cryogenic testing processes. Verified various NDE methods were performed, and visual inspection of welding process were completed of welds and castings. Performed borescopes inspection of critical high pressure pipe welds to determine a plan of action for rework repair. Tests welders to ASME Sect IX to certify them to a process WPQ Welder Performance Qualification to various welding processes; Hard facing overlays, Groove n Fillet joint welds and Corrosion Resistant Overlays to meet or exceed the customers’ requirements. Tracked and maintained welder continuity of 10 welders.

Generates PQR's and Qualified new Weld Procedure Specifications.

Inspects and received downhole completion chemical injection mandrels, packers and component sensor parts from vendors, used calibrated dimensional inspection instruments and equipment to verify dimensions, surface finishes, coatings, heat treatments and chemical and mechanical reports to verify that the integrity of the material meets the required designed specification. Insures required Non Destructive requirements are met on parts, performs hardness testing on materials. Performs final inspection on completed tools, sometimes with 3rd party verification before releasing completed tools to be shipped for use. Experience using SAP, CWI and Image systems to verify and move parts through the receiving then manufacturing assembly process. If a part is discovered damaged or found to not meet the required specifications a NCR- Non Conformance Report is then generated. Works daily with design engineers and assembly personnel to move products through in a safe and efficient manner.

Production Inspection Manager / Lapping Manager / Dimensional Inspection of Machined and Welded parts / NDE

Performed quality inspections in all manufacturing departments in the manufacturing process of valve parts (machining, welding, carbide coatings, lapping, final assembly, leak check) also inspected welding process to inspect welds for non-conforming defects. Performed inspections for the engineering department and functioned as a liaison to the Engineering department to resolve all NCR dimensional workmanship findings in the machining, lapping and welding departments to investigate all NCR Non-Conformance Report issues. Fills out Non-Conformance Reports documenting and following through with supervisors and management to implement corrective actions. Functions well with all levels of manufacturing and the production floor. Used a PMI Positive Material Identification gun to verify and confirm chemical make-up of material being used on critical application projects and weld overlays. LP- Liquid Penetrant and MP-Mag Particle test machined and welded parts. Performs dimensional inspection on machined parts. Performs hardness testing in house using Brinell and Rockwell A, B, C scales. Review failed Radiographic X ray RT, LP and MP reports, worked with the welding department to implement repair to forgings and castings and final machined parts. Inspect various coatings with thickness gages to verify coated parts meet print spec. Personally welded and fabricated the machine equipment to convert our lapping department equipment process from manual to full automated lapping process. Supervised the lapping department employees for first and second shift. Supervised welders to weld pipe to valves and with various over lay processes. Worked with third party witness inspectors to confirm their processes were being implemented during our production of customers parts.

Manufactured and assembled offshore ventilation and electrical equipment onto skids. Assembled various custom explosion proof and corrosion resistant ventilation systems up to 600 ton (HVAC) heating, cooling and air handler pressurization units and equipment and sensors from print. Pipe fit and Mig welded four to six inch carbon steel piping onto water chillers. Disassembled and then reassembled heavy electrical motors and equipment, replacing all the internal parts with stainless parts making them resistant to offshore corrosion and hazardous environment conditions. Cut, braised and assembled copper and brass tubing using OXY/Acetylene skills. Ran cable trays and secured heavy wire conduit to skids. Tig Heliarc welded stainless steel sensors and fittings onto Nema 7 boxes which included packing and wiring electrical control boxes to three phase motors and equipment making them spark proof for use in hazardous conditions. Custom fabricated and mig welded stainless steel brackets and fittings. Exceeded the stringent expectations of the customer and inspectors on a daily basis.

Worked on a fast paced assembly production line. Manufactured and assembled various heating and cooling home and industrial units. Welded using oxy/acetyl skills to repair cut and braze coil tubing. Repair damaged parts and used a computer to test run and Q.C. the final inspection to all units before shipping. Used hand and air tools to assemble products according to blue print. Worked daily with crews ranging from four to twenty five people per production assembly line.

Operated and machined, using vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers. Was personally in charge of machining and inspecting parts using precision measuring instruments. Kept daily scheduled maintenance of machines and equipment. Using Mazatrol software to operate a Mazak 60 tool vertical machining center.
