Scan data acquisition, data interpretation, data storage, offline image and data analysis and interpretation of final results. The project has lead to optimising CMR perfusion acquisition method. A novel dual phase perfusion CMR pulse sequence was developed. 11 volunteers were come back for a second scan to determine the perfusion CMR reproducibility method. The method was first applied in volunteers then in patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD).
Myocardial Blood Flow (MBF). From myocardial tagging data, strain in several myocardial layers was measured and LV torsion calculated. As a primary investigator, I was involved in patient recruitment, fully informed consenting, safety MRI patient screening, biometric and anthropometric data collection, scan supervision and offline line image analysis.
