My day started out with on some days opening the pharmacy, which consisted of entering in Prescriptions that were sent in via fax .

Data entry sending faxes to Dr's for refill request or medication changes. And deleting medication that patients did not pick up in a timely manner, which were returned to stock. Customer service via front counter and refilling medications over the phone. Filling medication and selling prescriptions. Doing weekly returns, and counts on certain medications on a daily basis. Working side by side with pharmacist when filling and data entry. Receiving and putting away of truck on daily basis depending on which shift I work. Answering any questions that I can about patients medication and helping to recommend OTC products. Entering and ringing out of immunizations. Customer service on a daily basis. Working in workflow, and as a team. Filling out of stock medications and partial fills. And the ordering of medications . Making sure that everyone is in work flow, doing schedules to a weekly budget, giving immunizations, have been doing COVID-19 testing and giving shots as well. Addressing any situation that may come up with a team member and coaching when it’s needed on how we can have a more sufficient ran Pharmacy. I have my BLS as well
