Currently Working as, a Radiological safety officer –BARC RT Level 2 approved by AERB Govt. of India with having 13+ years of rich experience in Manufacturing, Power Plant, Refinery, Cross country pipeline, Welding, Testing & Inspection (QA/QC). Looking to enhance my knowledge and experience into a role as a RADIOLOGICAL SAFETY OFFICER /NDT Engineer ( NDT & QA/QC).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

PRESENT COMPANY: SHRIRAM PISTONS & RINGS LTD, GHAZIABAD UP 201013--From February 2022 to till now as a Radiological safety officer (RSO).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and marinating all necessary documents for AERB visits & Compliance.

Inspection and supervision of Real-Time-Radioscopy Testing of casting components (Pistons) and evaluation of test results.

Monitoring of YXLON UX20 160KV/11.30Ma X-Ray (Real Time Radiography) Machine.

Carry out routine measurements and analysis on radiation and radioactivity levels in the

controlled area, supervised area of the radiation installation and maintain records of the

results thereof; to prevent unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation and maintain necessary exposure as low as

Reasonably achievable (ALARA).

Maintain TLD Badge Records and X-Ray Equipment’s Log Book records.

Daily maintain of Log-Book and records and check all radiations detectors working condition.

Monthly Dispatching with safety of TLDs to Laboratory for checking personal dose exposure.

To Monitor & Maintain the calibration records of X-Ray Machine, Radiation Survey Meter, Pocket dosimeter, Area Zone Monitor, CMM, and UFD periodically.

Investigate any situation that could lead to potential exposures and rectify.

Conducting Radiography safety awareness program for Radiographer, trainee radiographer, operator and related staff member.

Handle E-Lora Process to meet all AERB safety regulation and processing for certification and all necessary approval from AERB.

To ensure that, report on all hazardous situation along with details of any immediate remedial action taken are made available to the employer and licensee for reporting to the competent authority and a copy endorsed to the competent authority.

Developing suitable emergency response plans to deal with accidents and maintaining emergency preparedness plan for optimizing exposure to radiation source.

Carrying Conductivity & CMM Test of Pistons and Analysis with maintaining reports and records.

Coordinate and Planning of X-Ray, UFD and DP testing of Pistons

Monitoring Material Incoming, Dispatch & Planning shift schedules of manpower

To ensure quality assurance tests of components and source, 5S, TPM as required.

Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management’s system, Recommended and implement improvement when required.

Coordinate all QA/QC activities (RCA, CAPA, CP, WI, Kaizen, TPM) with site QA/QC procurement in charge and manager.

To coordinate with client for production and QC matter and coordinates third party inspection for all relative QC inspection activities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysing all NDT methods like DPT, MPI, UT, and RT according to the client’s requirement, codes.

Reviewing Radiographic film interpretation of welds as per code and RT procedure.

Coordinate with the execution team for weld repair activities such as excavation of defect area

Confirmation of defect removal, and Reshoot Radiography

Worked as an NDT Engineer (Carrying UT, MPT, Film Interpretation of RT film (X-ray & Gamma Ray) with Report submission in CBM FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT WITH L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited, SHAHDOL-MP. (PIPELINE & STATION PIPING) for 01 years 05 months (September 2014 to January 2016).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for setting up, implementing, and overseeing QA/QC documentation.

Stage-wise inspection as per quality control plan like material identification, fit-up, weld visual and dimension inspection, NDT clearance, mechanical clearance.

Preparation of RTFI’s for consultants or client inspection.

Ensure that the job is done as per client requirements and standards and certify the quality of work done. • Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire parts including Material test certificates, calibration, test results, machining, and final inspection reports, non-compliance reports and observations, and other QA/QC documents.
