Bernard M. (“Bernie”) Filler is an accomplished experienced Global Capital Formation, Project Management and Strategic Business Development Executive. Throughout his career he has successfully planned, managed and executed many Domestic and International Capital Raising, Acquisition, Joint Venture and Strategic Business Development Initiatives involving both Privately Owned and Publicly Held Enterprises.

His Professional career began as an Associate Attorney (after graduating with High Honors from Stanford University School of Law) with the Internationally renowned New York City based Law Firm Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison. During his eight years at Paul Weiss, he actively represented many Privately Owned and Publicly Traded Clients plus several well known New York based Investment Banking firms in their Capital Sourcing and Merger and Acquisition endeavors.

He left Paul Weiss to become Executive Vice President and a Director of a Chicago based Paul Weiss Client, Storm Drilling and Marine, a publicly traded Offshore Drilling and Marine Services Company. At Storm Drilling, Mr. Filler was responsible for Domestic and International Capital Raising to fund several hundred millions of offshore drilling rigs and marine service vessels construction. Seven years later Storm Drilling was acquired by a larger competitor which ended Mr. Filler’s tenure with that Company.

After a brief time as a partner with a Chicago based Law Firm where he headed the Corporate Department he was offered the Opportunity to form a company which he was CEO of that served as Managing General Partner of over nine years 23 Private Investment Partnerships that collectively raised a few hundreds of millions from Private Investors. Those Funds were invested primarily in Motion Pictures produced by major Film Studios plus some investment in equipment and real estate.

Since then Mr. Filler has served as an Independent Investment Banker with his own Chicago based firm Lidemara Enterprises LLC plus for five years with a Chicago based boutique Investment banking Firm named Kinsella Group.

Throughout the past many years Mr. Filler has been actively involved in many Capital Raising Initiatives to support a range of Project Funding, Enterprise Growth/Expansion, Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate Acquisition and Development. Industries served include Family Entertainment, Energy, Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution, Real Estate and Shipping.

A distinguishing aspect of Mr. Filler’s Professional career is that for the past 12 years he has traveled to China several times and has been active in creating Cross Border relationships between China and North America.

Mr. Filler has a unique capability based upon long experience in understanding and successfully managing and coordinating the interplay and interdependency of many Professionals (Attorneys, CPAs, Tax Advisors, Investment Bankers, Wealth Managers) and Capital Providers (Institutional, Private Equity, Family Offices, Commercial and Merchant Banks) necessarily involved in any successful Capital Raising Project or in any Strategic Joint Venture with Strategic or Capital Partners.
