Saint Anthony’s Catholic church-1902 Levelland Hwy, Brownfield, TX 7936
Brownfield rehabilitation and care center 510 S 1st St. brownfield, TX 79316
At Saint Anthony’s Catholic church, I have alter served since 2016. I have been a member of Saint Anthony’s since birth but getting a chance to really be a part of the church is a honoring feeling. Acquiring this role, I needed to have good communication skills, respect for all and give all my attention to others. This position required me to be a leader and a role model to others. Often and churched I helped cooked breakfast after mass as well working hands on in the kitchen and working well with others. At Brownfield rehabilitation and care center I helped the elderly have more fun by talking to them about life or playing board games to keep the mind working. I love doing service over there because everyone feels like they need someone to talk to at some point, and being that person is so special and important,
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE AND ACTIVITIES
Fccla, Youth Revolution, United future leaders, Spanish honor society and HOSA
Fccla I was vice president last year being the vice president helped me understand that Importance of being selfless and helping others. I took a test over etiquette and showed others how to pass their test with studying tips
Youth Revolution is my youth church group we often communicate about life and the importance of having God close to your heart. God has always played a big role in my life since birth and I think continuing your knowledge in your religion is important.
United future leaders is a after school group that taught me a lot about life and opened my mind up for careers I never thought about. Being apart of a group that cares about your future and makes sure you take the right path is amazing.
Spanish honor society is so important to be as a Hispanic knowing and understanding both English and Spanish is a humongous advantage. Spanish honor society helped me grow at speaking Spanish and understand how to translate smoothly.
HOSA is a group I started last year, and I am continuing to do it today it teaches you about many things you can do in the health care field which I am beyond interested in.
