Narrative Description of the Project:

The Scope of Works comprises:

The project calls for the construction of package 3 of Al Batinah Expressway located in Oman. The project includes a 46.2-kilometres (km) long expressway starting from Wadi Al-Hamili in Al-Suwaiq to Hafeet in Saham. The package also includes 5 intersections, 4 flyovers, 4 Wadi crossing bridges, 1 camels crossing and 220 box culverts.

Narrative Description of the Project:

The Scope of Works comprises:

Dualization of about 39 Km of the existing Barka - Nakhal single carriageway road from 7 Km after Barka R/A to WadiMistal Junction

Repairing and asphalting of about 40 Km of the existing single carriageway road from WadiMistal junction to Rustaq.

Construction of a roundabout in Al Awabi.

In the dual carriageway portion 4 roundabouts and 7 interchanges has been constructed and about 25 Km of service roads to accommodate the local traffic movements. The construction comprises also the construction of 2 wadi bridges, about 100 multicells box culverts, 2 pedestrian overpasses and 5 pedestrian underpasses.
