"The Road To Success Without College"
Greater Tampa Area, FL
President/Founder
While working in my career and serving on the Board of Directors of the American Welding Society, I saw a need for growing the future industrial workers from the youth of our neighborhoods. Since re-locating from South Florida to a rural area in greater Tampa, the topic became more realistic! “The Road to Success Without College” was born. A Registered Non-Profit Foundation existing to find trade school tuition assistance. Our fund raising was to come from Federal, State and Local Grants for the purpose of successful post-secondary training for the future leaders of tomorrow. Our purpose was to fill jobs necessary in heavy industry to fill the construction needs of building tomorrow's America. In the 1980s I was the administrator of the Hobart Welding School, Southern Division, Vero Beach Florida. I can see what those years of training accomplished. Unfortunately, the funds for our success have been re-directed to the channels of the COVID pandemic and schools have closed and re-direction is slow. The talent that I acquired to write for Grants is otherwise now occupied.
