● Worked inside the mill house, where four types of rollers, namely the top roller, feed roller, and discharge roller, were observed extracting juice from sugarcane.

● The plant uses an ISGEC Boiler for energy production.

● Bagasse is used as an energy source in the boiler to produce electricity.

● Bagasse as a fuel burns in the traveling grate furnace which converts the water passing through the boiler walls to steam.

● This steam produces energy by passing over turbine blades.

● Hence along with sugar the plant also generates 15MW of energy out of which 3 MW is used to operate the plant and remaining 12MW is supplied to Nipani city. UNDERGRADUATE PROJECTS

● An attempt towards improvement of human lives by smarter management of our waste.

● This project revolves around robots that can be implemented for eradication of manual scavenging and inspection of the inside of pipes. Relating to the Indian scenario,

● This is a very huge problem and needs to be addressed with at most importance.

● In this regard our robot tries to eradicate a particular part of the problem completely. Lateral sewer pipe connects two manholes and does not allow inspection, cleaning and clearing of blockages.

● To address this issue the robot extends from the manholes into the lateral pipe making its way to the point of blockage or of inspection.

● It does so by adjusting itself according to the inner diameter of the pipe. OTHER DETAILS
