Experience:

2010-Present-Health Screener/Reception Clerk/CNA II

Employed part-time with Centra Health. Part CNA II for Skilled Care and Oncology Units, needing the needs of in hospital patients. From June 2015-Present Reception Clerk at Dawson Inn, Customer Service and housekeeping duties.

2015-Present-Sponsor Community Home Provider

Licensed by the State of Virginia and contracted by Links to Life, LLC to provide congregate residential services up to 24 hours daily for two adult waiver clients. Providing a nurturing home environment to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Supervising/ assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication and behavior management. Assisting/coordinating data collection, community integration, money management, socialization/recreation., mental health coordination, and transportation. Participating in Individual Services Planning.

Responsible for maintaining data base to establish need for continued funding. Served on interview panels, trained other coordinators. Represented center at public functions to build community awareness of people with disabilities and advocated on their behalf.

*Prior experience also includes Support Unit Coordinator at MH Clubhouse where my duties included arranging and providing leisure/recreational activities for chronically ill members both at the clubhouse and in the community, coordinating supported employment, developing and implementing leisure plans, data collection, assisting other units as needed & Medicaid billing.
