New ownership. In my new role I am delivering 5 days a week. I am responsible for the incoming vendor trucks in the AM, rotating inventory, and loading outgoing trucks to customers.

May 1984 – February 2021 Position: Supervisor/Manager

I worked for the Irwin family for 38 years and helped them build a multimillion dollar business. I was their right hand man, and ran the entire business when they were away.

Responsibilities – Was in charge of all aspects of administration pertaining to the warehouse. This would include warehouse distribution such as setting up delivery schedules, unloading vendor trucks and loading the company outgoing trucks. Maintained inventory processes and rotation schedules, trained new employees in their daily job responsibilities including how to drive the large trucks to obtain the CDL class B license. Responsible for customer order accuracy specifically for food weights and prices on customer slips. Responsible for truck maintenance, scheduling, rotation. I interviewed and had input with personnel hiring and firing, and employee wages. When the owner was out I was responsible for calling customers for orders, placing wholesale orders with various vendors, negotiating and confirming product pricing with the vendors. Initiated new business accounts and increased business with current customers by selling different products to them. I give excellent customer service, maintaining customers for years. Responsible for customer billing and collecting. Had delivery routes in the Berks, Lancaster, and Schuylkill counties.
