SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Instrumental in building teams, which maintain high standards of operation through cooperation. My challenges in acquiring technical proficiency help to inform my attention to soft skills when working through problems that are presented within a team collaboration effort. As an intern, my first team determined the viability of MS Vista against Windows 7 as an enterprise-wide OS deployment. The data I collected for each of the hundreds of applications showed that Windows 7 was more compatible than Vista but there was some opposition from the manager I was assigned to skipping a Vista deployment. My suggestions and data ultimately saved Ford from two costly OS deployments when one would suffice. I was project manager tasked with building a SharePoint site for a local team of solution architects in Ford Motor Company’s Application Development group. I was then asked to combine this site with two others to create a global team site. A couple years later this global solution architecture site was combined into an enterprise-wide site to include several types of architecture teams in an umbrella under a higher-level manager. In this role also provided administrative support to solution architecture and architecture management teams. In prior positions I have used A+ certification to provide maintenance of networked and standalone computer systems. Install new equipment to replace obsolete machines. Install OS and upgrades as necessary. In several roles have diagnosed and resolved computer user’s problems with software applications, hardware and/or peripheral equipment. Assisted in the completion of large-scale production civil, electrical, architectural and mechanical drafting projects. Developed bid or contract documents which were technically accurate and aesthetically pleasing.
