Reading; Listening to old Hindi songs

Reading Indian History: With Indian civilization amongst the oldest in the world, I have developed interest about knowing about Indian kings and the various kingdoms that gradually shaped the modern civilization. India has a rich past on education, cultures, traditions and various religions. It is highly interesting to know about those hidden facts. Listening to songs of 70s and 80s can soothe minds - especially during distressing moments. HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Leading an all-India Research team

For 15 years in Religare, I led the Research team on an all-India basis. Agriculture related information needed to be collected from all over India. This information had to be collected from various markets, and then analysed along with Technical and other aspects to present a detailed report. These reports were meant for internal as well as external communications - based on which investment decisions were taken. My job was to ensure proper handling of the entire team so that accurate reports were presented - and on time. Study material preparation for competitive exams

In Byju's, one needed to show a highly dynamic attitude towards teaching Maths. With rapidly changing pattern of Questions, one had to be up to date with that. The help of Content Creators were of utmost importance in such cases in designing new types of Questions. Communication and leadership skills were of utmost importance while dealing with a team from another group. This only would ensure the Best Coaching for the students. Dealing with various types of customers with varied needs In Bank of India, I worked in rural, semi-urban and urban areas. I dealt with customers ranging from poor farmers to large traders.

All have varied requirements for deposits/loans. Handling them not only needs proper knowledge of the products but also proper communication. I have more than 4 years experience in handling variety of such cases. In Religare, my main job was to advise clients in taking positions in the commodities market. That also involved proper communication skills as the needs of various clients varied. For the growth of the Organization, retention of clients needed good inter-personal skills. Also, equally important was communicating properly with colleagues to get the Best possible report from all over India.

Dealing with students while Teaching

In Byju's, we had to teach students from different backgrounds and varied intelligence levels. Everyone was different from the others during any learning process. All had to be handled with care and positive attitude. Counselling session with students were critical as everyone had to be dealt with differently. Mix of Love, affection, encouragement and strictness were the needs of the hour in Teaching job. Preparations of Critical Research reports

In Religare, we had to prepare reports on variety of topics ranging from agricultural commodities, Monsoon, Budget, Government announcements etc. To prepare these reports, we had to take into account variety of factors. That needed support from various members of other teams. it needed proper collaboration, identifying and implementing the common objective - i.e., to prepare a detailed comprehensive report for the Company. Development of Soft skills

Soft skills possibly form amongst the most important skills needed for any Organization. How to handle variety of clients tactfully as per their varying needs is something that needs to be handled very carefully. This will be beneficial not just from the Company's point of view, but also, more importantly, from the client's point of view. How to carefully nurture students from different backgrounds and with different levels of understanding - how to handle a group of 50 - 100 students simultaneously - these are things that have taught me those very important Soft Skills. The main thing that needs to be imparted in students is "Motivation" - and this is a very difficult thing. MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Seasonal Trading Strategies

Price of Agri commodities depend on lots of factors - Monsoon, Government policies etc. A critical factor was however the Season. Most of the times, prices were lowest during Harvesting period and highest during sowing period. Taking advantage of these facts, I developed a trading strategy that depended on the Seasons. It was done for Cotton and Kapas with Long term Investors being informed about how to trade. It involved a detailed hi-tech Technical Research with proper communications and feedbacks from all our sources regarding the Fundamental factors.
